The DVD/Blu-ray player in my SVL24127CXB shows up in Device Manager and it says it is functioning properly, but no disc DVD or Blu-ray is ever recognized when inserted. The cursor turns into the little disc, but My Computer shows the drive as having nothing.
Anyway, I'd like to replace but am concerned about hardware installation and compatibility after the install. I did manage to purchase the exact same drive, but I'd like to have some guidance before opening the machine up. The only thread I say had the mod sending a PM to the questioner.
Any chance I could get a PM with the same information, Sony Moderators? Thanks in advance!
