Ok jokes apart.
I do not think taking this unit to a Sony service centre would be wise, for the following reasons :
1. Because you guys charge too much.
2. I am forking this old laptop to LEARN about these things on my own, to pay someone else to do it for me would beat the purpose.
3. I want to be able to do this on my own and probably turn it into a business like many others have, basing on that I cannot rely on your service center to do my repairing 
Sure I am not a chip level engineer or designer, all I have is a heat gun a bit of solder and that's all. I might buy small parts to make this thing functional again but I will NOT send it to a service center
Lastly I would be greatful if you guys can at least give me the schematics of the board design for the M961_MP_MB (rev-1.1) model.
