We apologize for the inconvenience. What is the current operating system of your computer?
Here are the steps that you may follow:
1. Remove all peripherals, docks, media and 3rd party RAM, boot using Assist button and reset BIOS defaults
2. Check if the fan is working, make sure issue is not related to overheating.
3. Please take note of any error message that might come out.
4. Start in Safe Mode - if issue not present in Safe Mode, use Task Manager & Msconfig to configure a clean boot.
5. Install any available BIOS updates, if possible
6. Run diagnostic tests (if possible) for CPU, RAM, HDD (Quick Test only) using the Vaio Care.
7. If all tests pass, run Windows System Restore to a date before issue first appeared.
8. If issue still persists, reformat the unit back to factory default.
