We apologize for the inconvenience. The SVF11N18CWP was not recognized by our system, is this a part number of the battery or an AC adapter? Please make sure you have the correct model number of your laptop.
The link states that,
BIOS Update program (BIOS version R0250DE and later versions）will disable the battery charging function of the battery packs on the affected PCs. If the battery packs have been repaired, the battery charging function of your PCs will not be affected by the BIOS software update.
It looks like yours hasn't been repaired yet that's why the battery stopped working.
