Hi everybody,
Here's my problem :
My VAIO PCG-4121DM does not start anymore.
And here are the symptoms :
- When I doesn't plug the charger, with the battery, nothing happens (no led lightening).
- When I plug the charger without the battery, nothing happens anymore (no led on anymore).
- When I plug the charger with the battery, the orange battery led swich on continuously for seconds, and then blink fast.
What I understand with what I get from the net is that my battery is probably dead, but that doesn't explain why nothing happens when the charger only is plugged...
I checked thoses things :
- The voltage at the output of my charger is ok (19,5V measured)
- I did the famous procedure of ON/OFF button pushed for 1 minutes with everything unplugged, then try to switch on with the charger and with or without the battery... Nothing better.
- I did a "battery reset" by pushing the little button with a needle for 5 seconds with or without the battery plugged. Nothing better.
Does anyone have a solution? Or a clue or something?
I'd like to hear some advice before buying a new battery or charger...
