This issue is quite tricky. The laptop is not connecting to the internet using the built-in WiFi adapter (the laptop alone) and using an external USB WiFi adapter. Have you changed any settings or installed an application before this issue started? I have suggestions here that might resolve this network issue:
- Boot the laptop into Safe Mode with Networking.
- Disable antivirus.
- Perform a clean boot.
- Restore the computer to an earlier time.
