I have a Sony Tap 11, model # SVT11213CXB, and cannot get the keyboard to work. As far as I can tell from reading other posts, the keyboard is not paired with the PC. I just reset the PC to factory default using VAIO recovery, so I have a fresh install of Windows 8 (not 8.1). I also reset BIOS. All I've done is run the VAIO Update tool to update all the software I can.
When I run the PAIRING_TOOL.exe others mention, when I click "Pairing" I get an error "Fail to get the dongle handle".
When I try to run the Keyboard Receiver Firmware Update, that VAIO Update recommends, when I click "Update" I get an error saying "Update Failure!!!". When I click "Pairing" I get an error saying "Pairing Failure!!!".
This leads be to believe the issue is with the receiver, not the keyboard... and is likely a driver isuse.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks.
