A few months ago, the display started to black out occasionally and eventually totally black when it's in both laptop and tablet form.
And if I put it into tablet form, the laptop will go into sleep mode automatically.
The only way to show the screen was to transform it between the tablet mode and laptop mode, i.e. some degree of lifting the screen off from it's laptop mode and I had stick a pen or something between the screen and the backplate so it would not go back into total laptop mode.
I found out it's not the display is bad, it is the connecton to the display backlit is bad.
I can still see a very fainted screen on the display in a dark room, but the backlit is gone so it can't illuminate the screen.
It's probably due to the design of their Z Flip mechanism is not durable enough for long term.
The degree of lifting the screen off so I can get the backlit lighted up was gradually decreasing over months and now I have to fiddle the screen for a few minutes before I can settle on an angle that I can see the screen.
Anyway know how I to disassemble the screen to fix the backlit connection (may be some wire is loosen)?
