I would like to replace my contantly failing wireless adapter (Intel Advanced-N 6230) with a new adapter. Since I need to replace it anyway, I would like to upgrade it to take advantage of 802.11 A/C. Does anyone know if there are compatibility issues or other obstacles that would prevent me from replacing the current wifi adapter with a newer/faster one, say the Intel 7260.HMWG.R adapter? I know how picky Sony can be about using drivers that didn't come already installed with the laptop and I'd hate to buy this adapter only to find out that for reasons completely unknown to me Sony won't allow me to use it. My laptop is already out of warranty so I have no issues with opening it up and doing the replacement.
