Can a Sony VAIO(R) Model VPCEB3KFX with an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M 460 @ 2.53GHz be replaced with an Intel Core i7 CPU?

I am in the processor of rebuilding/refreshing a Sony VAIO(R) Model VPCEB3KFX laptop.  It came with an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M 460 @ 2.53GHz processor.  I am curious as to whether I can replace it with an Intel® Core™ i7-640M Processor (4M Cache, 2.80 GHz) processor.  I believe that they are the same specifications.  Here is the link to the Intel website with the specifications for the i7 specifications:

If it will work, which form factor is the one for this laptop?  Is it BGA1288 or PGA988?
