The wireless LAN adapter driver is probably corrupted, not fully installed or missing. Try to right click these drivers under Device Manager > select Uninstall (DO NOT DELETE). Restart the computer. The drivers should be reinstalled. Run Vaio Update and Windows Update to download and install the necessary drivers and software. If the issue is still unresolved, download the drivers manually by visiting Sony support website, save those to a USB flash drive and install to your machine.
