I have been experiencing issues with my Sony Vaio S-series laptop, model number SVS151290X. Ever since I have updated to windows 10, I have been unable to disable my touchpad. I use a USB mouse while at home, and a touchpad while out and about, and thus uninstalling the touchpad is not a solution for me. I have updated the drivers for my touchpad (Synaptics SMBus ClickPad) from the sony website, however the issue still persists. When using the Fn-F1 (disable touchpad) key on my keyboard, nothing happens. Please let me know of a solution to this issue. Thank you.
