Did you reinstall all the drivers and software from the website? Please install the following utilities below in order,

1. Sony® Shared Library 

2. System Settings Program

3. Sony® Notebook Utilities 

These will install the originally shipped versions of the following:

• Battery Checker 4.5.0.02140
• VAIO® Control Center 4.5.0.03040
• VAIO Event Service 5.5.0.03040
