So I was told, the graphics card is dying, thus, the OS is unable to recognize it (Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT) in Device Manager, rather it is showing "Standard VGA Adapter" instead. As a result, unable to install the Nvidia driver.
The Sony care Diagnoise indicate error with "video" section, but all others especially CPU are GOOD, so my question is:
1. where can I buy a replacement graphics card?
2. is it really necessary to buy the whole motherboard?
My laptop is VGN-AR770
Thank you
