Battery time reduced to half

I was havibg trouble with my harddrive i changed my harddrive now that problem is solved but my battery timing is reduced to half.
I installed catalyst control center from my previous windows(harddrive) but still i get the problem.P.s i cannot adjust brightness or change my battery plan to power saver mode.
Can you help me with this??
