I have bought a Vaio Fit 15 Flip laptop (Model - SVF15N190X) which has given me problem with its hinge since I bought it and finally it broke, I can not believe a company like Sony would have such a poor design and cheap material (plastic holding the metal nuts) and charging $1,300.00 for this cheap quality product. This is a last time I am going to buy Sony product, they used to be good not anymore. when I contacted their support, Best Buy geek squad, I was told that they have to send the laptop to their out of state center and it will take between 2-3 weeks to tell me how much it is going to cost me to fix it. I told them I can not be without PC for that period, so they referred me to local PC repair shop, then I was told by that shop that it is going to cost me around $400-500 (parts and labor) to fix it and since it is cheap and bad design it is going to break again and it is not worth to fix it. Since this is a Sony bad design, the company has to accept the responsibility and fix this problem. As I read the messages in the Sony community there are several people with the same issue.
