We do not recommend upgrading any parts on your Vaio computers because upon replacing the motherboard, you might need to replace everything like the hard drive, memory, etc because they were made to run on that specifications. Plus, you might have issues with the drivers and software. To prevent unforeseen issues, I professionally suggest you stay with the currently installed motherboard.
 
You may proceed to upgrading them and bring the devices to any professional technicians but Sony is not liable for any issues that may occur.
