Hi JenF,

Thanks for yr reply.

Honestly, rolling back to Vista Ultimate will be the very "last resort" option, unless I have no other choice, as microsoft pulled the plug that they no longer offer any windows update for that OS.

Perhaps let me ask you this:

Was I wrong/ Did I do this wrong--when I made the switch from Vista Ultimate to Windows7Pro, I should not do the clean installation--I should not switch from 32 bits to 64 bits....given that Sony does not offer 64 bits / Windows 7 drivers for my VGN-AR770U customized laptop.

I mean, if i did the "Upgrade Option", keeping all drivers that were inside before, and kept it 32bits, ...Was it the right way?

I checked so many places even microsoft suggested that windows7 Pro should be able to pick up all drivers from Vista...

You see, the laptop is 64bits capable, BUT, ...along the way, i encounter some drivers issues, such as Windows7Pro 64 bits does not recognize the Nvidia graphics card, instead showing genetic one, and even I tried using the Nvidia's website drivers, still could not make it work. I tried modify the ****** file of the driver, still does not make OS recognize the Nvidia graphic card...

Thanks
