I have exactly the same notebook and exactly the same symptoms ! Troubleshooting does not help, there is no causal link to anything, it just goes black out of nowhere.
Did you actually get it fixed and, if yes, did Sony say what the issue was ? I'd like to fiy mine too.
Your answer would be much appreciated !
