When I started my vaio laptop today, my screen appeared all ******... it shows huge dark spots coming up from the bottom over the entire width of the screen. The link at the bottom contains a photo of my screen to illustrate the problem. I am not sure what caused this, but it was just fine yesterday. I certainly did not abuse it in the meantime, I just had it stored in my bag.
I am really disappointed with this, it is only a little over 2 years old and runs perfectly fine otherwhise. The one thing that I bought this laptop for is the screen, and now its ruined after only 2 years of use. This is definitely not what I spent over a thousand euro's for 
Is there any way this can still be saved? Can a screen be repaired, or replaced at an acceptable cost?
