Re: Not what we thought?

Well that's new. I just had the system throttle while I was playing a 2D puzzle game (Toki Tori 2). I quit the game and flipped on Speccy to see my internal temps, and both the CPU and GPU were at around 44 degrees C. That's WAY lower than anything I've heard of triggering throttling.

Another point on the other end of the spectrum, I haven't tweaked p-state settings via nvidia inspector since upgrading to Win 10. But recently I started playing Assassin's Creed Black Flag recently which is playable on lowest settings, but choppy as all ****** once throttling starts. So I booted up Nvidia Inspector to give it a shot.

However, once I change the clock and memory speeds in P5 and P8, the game won't launch, and will crash if running. Not only that, but I will invariably get a BSOD within a minute of making the changes, even though I've got another program running that's set to use the NVidia GPU.

Anyone else have the NVidia Inspector band-aid solution stop working after upgrading to Windows 10?
