We recommend performing troubleshooting steps before jumping to a conclusion. You may perform a power cycle or simply restarting the computer. To perform a power cycle, follow the steps below:
- Turn off the computer.
- Remove all connected devices and the AC power cord.
- Remove the battery.
- If the battery is not removable, try to look for a battery off button located usually on the bottom of the unit.
- Hold the button for 5 seconds.
- Hold the power button for 5 seconds.
You may test the screen while in Safe Mode.
