Wi-Fi not working

Hi, I'd really appreciate any help at this point because I can't figure it out on the internet.

My laptop is missing the wi-fi icon on the taskbar and does not have the wi-fi tab in settings. The broadcom adapter in device manager is enabled but nothing will work. I would seriously appreciate any help thankyou
